Betanzos to Santiago

Another Spain trip coming to a close. I really enjoy the walking here. The weather has added challenges, but that is part of what I enjoy with a winter walk. The personal interactions with the locals are always fun. I hope you have enjoyed following along. I fly home in a few days and return to my “normal” life. My feet and body feel great. I think I have lost a little weight, even though I have been eating well.

  1. Good thing the weather didn’t “dampen” your experience! I agree that walking through snow is probably preferable to walking in rain, as long as you are warm enough and have the proper gear. Sounds as though you’ve met some kind and generous people there and seems like you communicate pretty well. Good luck with the logistics of getting back to Madrid and then home to Phoenix. I’ve enjoyed your posts tremendously.

  2. Wow, that was quite a few wet days!!! But you always make the best of it! Hope you are able to get back to Madrid easily, too to catch your flight home.

Been fun traveling with you again, Gary!
