I made it to Santiago yesterday and had a great evening with China, Italy and Korea. A wonderful finish to the trip. Today I took the bus to Fisterra. Tomorrow back to Santiago, then Thursday a train to Madrid and Friday fly home.

Congratulations on completing another Camino! I loved the frost designs on the cars–very cool.

Hi Gary~
I am sorry to have your commentary stop! I think you had a fabulous time overall and you accomplished what you set out to do! Say hi to Elizabeth for me. I’d be interested in hearing what the “behind the scenes” 3 hour Cathedral tour was like.
Love,
Cindy

Hi Cindy – The tour was a lot of fun. Unfortunately it was all spanish, so I was not able to understand all the information. We walked across the roofs and went up to the top of one of the towers. I loved seeing the inside and the construction details. Amazing the carvings, even though it wasn’t really visible to the general public. The stopped the basement tour during covid, so I didn’t get to go down below. The cathedral is an amazing building. Incredible to think someone envisioned things 800 years ago and then the construction crews built it. I actually only did 90 minutes, but still very cool.

Sounds wonderful, Gary! You have such an eye for construction, too! You don’t need to know the language to see the workmanship! I’m assuming you’re back in Phoenix!
