I have only 12 miles remaining to get to the Cathedral in Santiago. This trip has gone very fast, I can’t believe it is almost over. I have physically felt great. My feet have been zero issue. I did get one small blister, but it did not affect my walking. It looks like tomorrow is the best weather forecast so far – sunny and mid 50s. Hopefully I will see a few familiar faces in Santiago. My two Korean woman friends went through O Pedrouzo today. I saw them at lunch. They will arrive in the morning. They are also planning to take the bus to Fisterra.
I’ve been following in awe your entire trip, Gary. What an adventure. Way to go, man!

Hi Gary!
I agree with Mark that it’s been quite an adventure! Reading it all from start to finish has made it awe inspiring! I read once that you said you’d consider October if you were to do it again. Weather doesn’t seem to bother you. Is it the lack of English speaking people that has made the difference? What adventure is next on your agenda?
Enjoy and savor Santiago and your journey home!

I agree that it would have been nice to have encountered more English speakers along the way. Were there fewer people on the trail than you were expecting? On a different note, I’m curious what they do with the cooking oil! Anyway, best of luck with your last few days of this epic experience. I’ve really enjoyed reading your journal.
