After 3 flights I made it to Porto about noon today – April 11. Everything is off to a great start. The weather forecast is almost too good to be true, so we will see what comes our way. Today was in the low 80s. Normal is mid 60s. It was cooler along the ocean, where I will be walking for the next week plus, before heading inland. I am trying to learn a bit of Portuguese. It is funny, some words are the same and others are completely different. Click the link below to see a few photos.

What a beautiful beginning! I spent a wonderful week in Porto. Pietro’s and my last trip together. Warm people, wonderful walks and great tile work! Be sure to have a glass of vino verde while in Portugal. Low alcohol – refreshing white wine. Enjoy, Gary. I love your journals! Thank you. Katherine
