  1. It was such a joy to follow your trip again. Your recap words are still perfect for today. We need to LIVE life to its fullest each day and serve others in the process. We never know what tomorrow brings, that’s for sure. And in this last week I learned another older friend I know is very sick with cancer, another dear friend ‘s husband, who is also a friend, got cancer last winter and passed today. And, the guest speaker at church today, who is my age and a former SUPER athlete, has had stage 4 cancer 2 times in the last 4 years….keeps trying to beat it back, but it’s caused him so many more health problems. He can barely stand for a minute without excruciating pain, etc….He said today that one of the reasons he took such good care of himself while still working was so when he retired, he could do the things like you and Gary just did. He was looking forward to many adventures. Well, you know how that ends…..SO, YES, to starting to do more and enjoying all life has to offer in this back part of my life. Get that next knee replaced, stay active and appreciate this GIFT of life, everyday! PROUD of you and Gary!!!!!
