G: This again has been a wonderful journey. Obviously the pictures show the physical beauty of the journey across northern Spain and we have tried to express the fun we have with the locals and other Pilgrims. Hopefully that has come through in our journals because that is the main reason we continue to come back to the same area. Honestly, I would go back to St Jean Pied de Port and start walking again tomorrow. We are in good walking shape now. Our feet are good. But, we will be getting on the plane in a few hours and heading home.

Rangeley and I will be heading out in a couple of weeks to drive east. Elizabeth will meet us somewhere and we will continue to New England to see family then visit Ohio, then home again the second half of August. We will not be journaling that trip.

    1. What a fine journey you two have had. Glad to hear all is well and you are both healthy, but a few spider bites and bee/wasp stings. I have so enjoyed reading your posts, nearly daily and am inspired to do the Camino within the next two years. Thank you for sharing and YES, I’ll take you up on your offer of a packing list and pix of your pack, and in wonderment … where did the blue dress come from? Welcome home.

  3. I’ve enjoyed your journal with all the beautiful photos so much! Thanks for sharing! Have fun with your family and Rangeley when you return to AZ!
    Only 2 cars parked on Warpaint when I finished my hike at 7AM this morning. Marc is recovering from his heart ablation procedure on Monday. No hiking for him for two weeks. He feels fine and is ready to get back to it!😊 Carol
