Another great animal viewing day. We could not get lodging with Rangeley near the park so yesterday we stopped 30 miles short of the park and then drove 75 miles past after visiting the south unit today. Yellowstone Day 2

Another great day in Yellowstone. Lots of cool thermal features, but the animals are our favorites. We didn’t have wifi last night and weak data so we are posting this from Billings, Montana. Grand Teton

We have had a wonderful time in Jackson, WY. Today the weather turned much colder, 55 for a high with showers on and off during the day. Jackson, WY

We are in Jackson, WY enjoying the town and taking an off day. We had initially planned to stay here 3 nights but last night I extended our room for a fourth night. Great Basin

We are now in Evanston, WY. Very weak wifi in Baker, so that is why we are posting today. We drove 300 miles of the 500 to Jackson. We went grocery shopping and changed the oil in the van. So far we are at about 2,400 miles driven. We will be at over 8,000 whenContinue reading “Great Basin”

Zion

Our busy schedule continues. Bryce yesterday, Zion today, Great Basin tomorrow. We left home 14 days ago and have visited 9 parks so far. We passed a sign today that read Phoenix – 411 miles.
