The past 3 days have been pretty wild, snow, rain, snow. I certainly have gotten my wish for weather on this trip. From here I head down the mountain and have no more big hills to climb. I am also getting closer to the ocean, snow the temperatures should be in the mid to upper 40s going forward. I didn’t have wifi yesterday, and here in O Cebreiro it is only in the lobby, not in the rooms. These old stone buildings were not built for strong wifi.

The “bronze” statue of the man, in front of the Ponferrada castle, looks new (?).
First thing I thought, as I saw the snowy path to O Cebreiro: where’s Victor with the horses when you need him?😁🐴
Getting closer to Serria and Santiago is always bitter sweet. More people to walk with/and well more people/busier. Success is in sight, but the journey is coming to an end. More places to stay and eat but less remote and peaceful.
