No rain today, which was nice. It was warm in the morning when the sun was out. It felt cooler in the afternoon when the clouds returned. Kind of an uneventful 2 days, but all good.

Good morning, Gary!
We’re hoping to make it into the 20’s today. It’s been a very cold January with high NW winds, which I intensely dislike. Thought you’d be interested that Heather had 10” of snow in New Orleans this week. Everything ground to a halt! They have no plows and Lee had to use a leaf blower to get the snow off of their flat topped roof!
I am loving your posts and now I see how you alter your journey yet still get the steps in. I’m wondering if you’ve ever felt afraid? Not necessarily from wildlife but from humans? Do you carry anything like a knife? I like that you meet up with other Pilgrims and go along together until the pace no longer suits you. Then rejoin each other later.
When is it that you fly back home? You and Elizabeth must miss each other yet are so supportive of each other’s life journeys/wishes.

Hi Cindy Crazy about the snow in New Orleans. No, I have never been afraid here in Spain. The people here, walkers and locals are very friendly and helpful. It truly is an amazing experience.

Good to know you feel safe. That’s important!
BTW, Florida had snow, too…4” in Pensacola.
