Gateway Arch

St. Louis has a very interesting history as the gateway to the westward expansion of the United States. It was the third busiest port in the US in 1850 since you can navigate big boats up the Mississippi River without passing through a single lock. The current in the river is 3.5 miles per hour in St. Louis. We continue to really enjoy all of the parks. Click the link below to see our page.
